Dr. Sang-uk Lee, founder of Fort Lee Acupuncture and Physical Therapy and a fourth-generation acupuncturist, integrates both physical therapy (manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities) and acupuncture (moxibustion, cupping, dry needling). All of these treatments are highly effective in treating musculoskeletal and neurological-related impairments. This integrative approach effectively promotes faster healing and recovery, especially for patients suffering from chronic pain.
In 2002, Dr. Lee established the acupuncture program at Saint Joseph's Medical Center, where he integrated both physical therapy and acupuncture. During this time, he successfully treated many patients with chronic conditions not responding to surgery, medications, chiropractic, physical therapy, or acupuncture alone.
